Phil is based in North Nottinghamshire which is pretty much in the centre of England. Landscape photography is his main area of focus and, having grown up on the coast he is particularly drawn to coastal scenes, which is a challenge as he could not live much further from the sea in the UK if he tried. Having the beautiful Peak District on the doorstep does offer some compensation though.
Wildlife photography is a new and growing area for Phil requiring different techniques and sadly, expensive kit!
